Abstract
In lift systems, in-car cameras have become widely used for both passenger counting purposes within the cabin and for security reasons. It is known that security systems in lifts generally remain limited to basic security measures. Current applications include emergency buttons, audible warnings, and intercom use; these solutions offer a reactive approach that allows users to intervene after an event causing danger in the lift has occurred. The developed web-based interface enables the monitoring and tracking of passengers in the car, small children, pets, belongings, and potentially hazardous situations. The integration of this system with the building security system will be studied later.
