Preventative and Planned Maintenance of Elevators

Maintenance is not only action when damage appears but also contains required operations for establishing and evaluating the current situation of elevator installations. By applying planned and periodic maintenance, continuous and reliable service time of elevators will be increased and the need for repair will be reduced. In this study elevator maintenance methods are discussed and preventative maintenance methods of elevator installation are hold and examined considering regulations and standards.
