DAC Electric Elevator: Software For Analysis Of Elevator Car Frames

In this paper the software called DAC ELEVATOR is presented, which has been developed in the Area of Transportation in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zaragoza. This program, is the first one of a large serial number of software made for the analysis of vertical transportation systems, which cover the study of the car, the structure as well as the mechanical components associated. In this program the analysis of traffic is also available as a part of the data required for the use of the rest of the program. This paper shows the way of working of the program, by means a description of the capabilities and restrictions and the resolution of serval examples.
