Toward a More Efficient Elevator System an Extended Summary

It is appropriate to describe an efficient elevator system in two aspects, namely energy performance and traffic performance. The presenter developed two bench marking parameters (So et al 2005) to measure the performance or efficiency of an elevator system, the first one on energy performance, i.e. J/kg/m, and the second on traffic performance.
